About Us

DV Advocates was founded in 2025 by Dr. Delilah Vella, a dedicated legal professional committed to delivering tailored legal solutions with precision and care.

Delilah completed her LL.B (Hons.) at the University of Malta, submitting her dissertation in April 2021 on "The Doctrine of Hot Pursuit with Special Reference to the Maltese Contiguous Zone." She graduated in September 2022 and was admitted to the Maltese Bar in 2023, the same year she was appointed as a Commissioner for Oaths.

In 2022, Delilah co-launched her first publication, "A Guide to Latin Terms in Law," in collaboration with the Malta Classics Association and GĦSL, reflecting her passion for both the legal profession and academic research.

During her studies, she gained extensive experience through internships in diverse areas of law, including banking, family law disputes, criminal law, civil law, gaming law, and human rights law. These opportunities allowed her to develop a broad foundation of legal knowledge and practical skills.

Today, Delilah primarily focuses mainly on criminal and family law disputes, while also assisting clients in civil matters, contract drafting, out-of-court settlements, and alternative dispute resolution. Her approach is client-focused, results-driven, and rooted in a commitment to delivering exceptional legal support.
